Theatre and Music “It’s in the Blood!” From High School Musicals to performing with the Melbourne Youth Theatre. From studying Opera to performing in Soap Opera. The Musical Theatre stage cast a spell on me but did not pay the bills.

A Degree in Education catapulted me to Darwin and then whirling around the World teaching Music and Drama, from Bangkok to London where I continued my passion for acting and singing jazz. Returning to Darwin, I flung myself into writing and singing jazz with my Trio, The “Kay Young Trio” rotating Gigs between Melbourne and Italy.

From Cole Porter, Gershwin, Sinatra and Ella, I wear many hats singing, composing, writing stories, poetry, plays, rapping and performing, but Jazz is my love! It’s in the Blood!

Now it’s a new adventure with “Katy & All that Jazz”.
